Hopeful Mama Foundation held its first fundraising event for infertility support, ‘Sip & Shop for Hope,’ on Sunday, August 27, from 10 am to 1 pm at Stillwater Coffee Co. The gathering brought together local vendors and patrons for a delightful morning of shopping, coffee drinking, and supporting a great cause.

The event saw a heartwarming turnout of patrons who embraced the spirit of giving while enjoying a variety of handpicked shopping vendors offering an array of products. From handmade jewelry and home fragrance to fresh picked bouquets and clean beauty products, there was truly something for everyone.

“[This was] such an incredible event full of hope, love, and happiness! Made my heart so happy,” said Ashley B., attendee at the event. Robin H., another attendee, remarked that it was an “amazing morning—[I’m] feeling supported, feeling connected, and left feeling hopeful!”

One of the highlights during the event were the Hopeful Mama swag bags filled with tons of goodies from local businesses and vendors. The first 25 attendees received the swag bags, which made their Sip & Shop experience even more memorable. A huge thank you to this year’s vendors: 

“We are deeply grateful to all of the attendees, vendors, and sponsors for their incredible support,” said Emily Patel, Founder + President of Hopeful Mama Foundation. “The funds raised will allow us to provide financial grants, in 2024, to assist women on their journey as a hopeful mama.”

Hopeful Mama’s fundraising efforts exceeded their goal of $2,500 and raised over $3,800!

Jennifer Hamdorf is the Director of Contracts & Legal Operations at Ruffalo Noel Levitz as well as an avid champion of Hopeful Mama Foundation. Jennifer and her husband, Ryan, experienced the grief of unexplained infertility for years. They never gave up hope—and after multiple failed transfers, welcomed their son, Wells, via IVF in April 2021.
In her free time, Jennifer is likely attending a local event with her family, listening to her favorite podcasts, or hiking with her two large rescue pups, Goose & Banksy.
