Harvesting Hope Event Recap
On October 24, 2024, we had the privilege of hosting our Harvesting Hope event at the beautiful Bass Family Farms, where attendees gathered for a memorable evening filled with connection, creativity, and community support to learn the art of charcuterie, led by The Hangry Lady. We were also able to raise over $1,500 for our 2025 Fertility Financial Grant Program—a cause close to the hearts of so many in our community. Below is our Harvesting Hope Event Recap:
Sponsored by Corda Credit Union, Hosted by Bass Family Farms
We are incredibly grateful to our sponsor, Corda Credit Union, for their generous support. Their commitment to making a positive impact on our community helped make Harvesting Hope a success, enabling us to host a night that was as educational as it was meaningful. A special thank you also goes to our host, Bass Family Farms. Their charming venue made the perfect setting for our gathering. Guests had the opportunity to browse and shop the farm’s store, and many left the event with arms full of goodies.
Charcuterie Creations with The Hangry Lady
Our featured teacher for the evening, Allie Lanham, owner of The Hangry Lady, led a fun and interactive charcuterie workshop, guiding attendees through the art of crafting beautiful and delicious boards. With her expert tips on selecting and arranging ingredients, she showed us how to balance flavors, colors, and textures to create beautiful spreads that are both pleasing to the eye and tasty. The evening was made even more special by the unique pumpkin-shaped charcuterie boards crafted specifically for Harvesting Hope. A local community member donated and created the custom wood boards and Wooden It Be Nice laser engraved them, while also making them food safe! These custom boards served as the perfect canvas for building seasonal spreads filled with cheeses, meats, fruits, and edible flowers.
As we built our boards, laughter and conversation filled the air, connections were made, and stories shared. By the end of the evening, everyone left with newfound skills, beautifully assembled boards, and plenty of inspiration to bring the art of charcuterie into their homes.
Supporting Hopeful Mama’s Mission
The best part of the evening? Knowing that every ticket purchased went directly to supporting the Hopeful Mama Foundation’s 2025 Fertility Financial Grant Program. Thanks to our attendees and the generosity of our sponsors, we’re thrilled to announce that 100% of ticket sales will be going back to Hopeful Mama. This allows us to expand our reach and offer even more financial assistance to families pursuing fertility treatments. For many families, these grants provide vital support during what can be an emotionally and financially challenging journey. We couldn’t do this without the continued support of our community.
Thank you!
To everyone who attended Harvesting Hope, thank you for bringing your energy, enthusiasm, and generosity to this event. You helped make the evening unforgettable, and your support means the world to us and the families we serve. We also want to extend our deepest gratitude to Corda Credit Union for their sponsorship! Thank you to Bass Family Farms for hosting us in such a beautiful space, and to The Hangry Lady for sharing her expertise and making the art of charcuterie accessible to all.
As we look ahead, we’re excited about future events where we can continue to grow our supportive community. Harvesting Hope was more than an event—it was a reminder of what we can accomplish when we come together.
Stay tuned for more upcoming events, and we hope to see you soon!
