Made for Motherhood
Grant Application
The Made for Motherhood Grant, in partnership with Generation Next Fertility, provides one fully funded IVF cycle for one eligible recipient, which may include egg retrieval and embryo transfer, consultations, monitoring, and embryo storage for up to one year, with flexibility for donor egg cycles when retrieval is not needed, empowering recipients to move forward on their path to parenthood.

To be eligible for this grant, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Applicants must be assigned female at birth

Age range between 21–49
- Household income under $150K annually
- Must be a U.S. Resident

No BMI restrictions
- No restrictions based on diagnosis or insurance status
- Applicants do not need to live in New York, but must travel to NYC for treatment at Generation Next Fertility

Open to both new and existing Generation Next Fertility patients
- IVF cycle must be used within 12 months of award
- The grant applies only to self-pay services or services denied by insurance
The Made for Motherhood Grant IVF Cycle Covers:
- Egg retrieval procedure and embryo transfer
- Initial and follow-up consultations
- Monitoring
- Embryo storage for one year
- ICSI or Conventional Insemination
If a recipient is using donor eggs and does not require retrieval, the grant can be applied toward a transfer.
The following expenses are not eligible for coverage under the Made for Motherhood Grant:

Partial sperm thaw
- Recipient partner services (including semen analysis)

General anesthesia (outside of standard sedation included above)

Outside monitoring administrative fees

HA binding test prior to ICSI (PICSI)

Zymot
-
CHLOE (embryo-related services)

Medication costs (payable directly to the pharmacy)
Generation Next Fertility (GNF) and the Hopeful Mama Foundation (HMF) will collaboratively review all eligible applications and work together to identify and select the grant recipient. This process is guided by shared values, clinical insight, and a commitment to supporting individuals with the greatest need and alignment with the purpose of the Made for Motherhood Grant.
While both organizations will participate in the selection process and decision making, the Hopeful Mama Foundation holds final selection authority in the event that GNF and HMF are unable to reach a mutual agreement on the recipient.
It is the policy and commitment of the Hopeful Mama Foundation that it does not discriminate on the basis of race, age, color, sex, national origin, physical or mental disability, or religion.
Generation Next Fertility and the Hopeful Mama Foundation will review applications. The grant recipient will be notified by phone approximately 1-2 weeks after the close of the grant on June 10, 2026. Those not selected will be notified via email.
The Hopeful Mama Foundation reserves the right to request additional information during the review process.
When does the application open and close?

Is there an application fee?
- There is no application fee.
Is there a medical evaluation form for this grant?
- No.

Can I apply if I live outside the United States?
- The Made for Motherhood Grant is only available to United States Permanent Residents.
What if I am not selected?
- Generation Next Fertility will offer 20% off services for applicants who are not selected, as well as a discounted consultation rate of $100.

Application Checklist
To apply for the Made for Motherhood Grant, applicants must complete the online application and you may include the following:
Images of both the front and back of your insurance card(s), if applicable. Insurance is not required to apply.
Optional: You may upload a photo (up to 5) to accompany your application if you would like to share one as part of your story. This may include a personal photo, headshot, ultrasound image, or another image. Uploading a photo is not required and will not impact your eligibility or consideration for the grant.
