Finding Hope on the Path to Motherhood

Finding hope on the path to motherhood was something that didn’t come easily for me. For years, motherhood felt like something I might never experience.

When My Body Became a Question Mark

It began with losing the predictable, healthy body I once knew.

First came my Type 1 diabetes diagnosis as a young adult. Then hypothyroidism. And at just 25 years old, premature ovarian failure.

With a background in nutrition, health science, and epidemiology, I tried to make sense of everything through biology and statistics. Knowledge gave me structure, but it also made me painfully aware of the odds stacked against me.

For a long time, I felt betrayed by my body.

I questioned it.
I feared it.
I lost trust in it.

The Shift That Changed Everything

My turning point came when I began exploring the emotional and spiritual layers of healing that most doctors never mention.

Through neuro-integrative emotional therapy, mindset work, and inner healing, something profound shifted. I stopped seeing my body as an enemy and started seeing it as a partner doing its best.

Healing did not erase my diagnoses, but it restored my strength, softened my fear, and reconnected me to hope.

I learned three truths that changed everything.

  1. My body is not my enemy.
  2. My diagnosis is not my identity.
  3. My story is not over.

I also discovered the powerful, science backed connection between the mind, emotions, and physical outcomes. Not as wishful thinking, but as a real and measurable influence on how our bodies respond to stress, safety, and possibility.

Understanding this concept was easy.

Believing it was the hardest part.

Preparing My Heart for IVF

Countless hours were spent seeking inspiration as I read success stories, listened to music that awakened hope, created vision boards, read poetry, and practiced visualization daily. What I knew, with certainty, was that I did not want to enter IVF drowning in fear. I wanted to enter with grace, trust, and emotional steadiness. Long before there were signs, I began speaking to the baby I longed for, visualizing holding my future child, and anchoring myself in belief and gratitude.

When I finally pursued IVF with donor eggs, it was with trust in my heart. It was a path I never imagined taking, one that carried its own layers of grief, acceptance, surrender, and ultimately, immense gratitude.

That path led me to my two little miracles. The moment I held my baby for the first time, my whole world paused.

His tiny fingers curled around mine. His warm little body rested on my chest. Everything I had longed for, cried for, and fought for suddenly became real.

It felt surreal, yet strangely natural. I was ready for this.

And still, beneath the joy, quiet whispers from my past surfaced.

How is this finally happening?
Is this really my baby?
Am I truly a mother now?

This journey taught me something I now know to be true.

The journey to motherhood begins in the heart.

How Little Miracle Creations Was Born

Because these emotional tools were such a vital part of my healing, I felt called to create something for other women walking this deeply vulnerable path.

Little Miracle Creations blends personal experience with insights from neuro integrative therapy, offering gentle, heart centered tools to help women move from fear and grief into belief, hope, and gratitude, from infertility through early motherhood.

To begin this mission, I created the Little Miracle Milestones collection.

Little Miracle Milestones: The Guided Journal

A therapeutic companion filled with reflective prompts, emotional healing exercises, visualizations, and mindset tools. It supports women in releasing limiting beliefs, building emotional resilience, and staying grounded through every stage, from infertility and IVF through pregnancy and into early motherhood.

Little Miracle Milestones: The Poetry Collection

A tender collection of affirmation infused poems written as a dialogue between mother and baby, even before they meet. Paired with evocative illustrations by Katie M. Berggren, America’s number one motherhood artist, this collection is designed to inspire hope, belief, and gratitude, even on the hardest days.
